About the event

Workshop Description:

Elevate your figure drawing skills with Illuminating the Figure, part of the Light and Proportion series. Suitable for artists of all levels, this workshop focuses on mastering the use of light and shadow to add depth, mood, and realism to your drawings.

Led by Elias Anatolios, a skilled artist rooted in Renaissance techniques, you’ll explore how to observe and capture light sources, build tonal values, and create dramatic contrasts between highlights and shadows. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will help you enhance your ability to portray the human form with a refined sense of lighting.

Basic drawing materials, including paper, pencils, and erasers, will be provided. You are welcome to bring additional mediums, such as charcoal or pastels, if you wish to experiment further.

Join us in a creative and supportive environment and learn how to bring your figures to life through the interplay…
